Do not, do not, DO NOT purchase this game. It just feels...incomplete. The regular board game is so much better.. if you could play this game against friends over the internet then it might be worth the money. but as single player game...no not worth it.. Game would be great if it offered a full screen function or at least fit in a windowed mode. However, the games windowed display doesnt allow you to see the action bar or any of your investments\/profile info. I have played this game with my lil bro for hours, the multiplayer mode is much much better than the single player.. Don't buy this game. It's boring and unplayable. The video game version of Life I played when I was a kid was much much better than this.. The jury's still out on this game. I love tGoL as a fun get-a-way from most the other games i play. The part that is the worst for me is the board is hard to follow. There are little or no "signs" telling me what is up ahead. This is crazy. LIFE Cards are given but i have no idea what they are about, it's been nearly 30 years since I played the Board Game. The option to see the whole board is clumsy and hard to navigate. I want to be able to see where the other players are in location to me, how far I need to got to get to a "good" space, if I even new what a "good" space would be.I putting "Recommended" as I like the game but not thrilled with it. Too many disappointments.
